Ben Koshkin – Age 70 – President. BBA Marketing & Economics – Lamar University 1967. MBA Finance & Industrial Relations – University of Michigan 1969. Mr. Koshkin has held a Texas Real Estate Broker’s license for forty-five (45) years and has brokered over one billion million ($1,000,000,000) dollars in raw land sales. He has been involved with a home building operation building two hundred (200) new homes a year, helped acquire, own & manage over five hundred (500) rent houses, helped acquire over two million (2,000,000) square feet of retail, owned and operated one of the largest home repair operations in Houston during the late 1980s and started his first land development thirty-eight (38) years ago. Mr. Koshkin does fee land development for large home builders in the Houston area. Mr. Koshkin has substantial experience in dealing with the Corp of Engineers, environmental engineers, various flood control agencies and civil engineers solving potential development issues. In addition to Houston Mr. Koshkin has dealt with numerous cities in the area including Baytown, League City, Humble, Katy, Tomball and Galveston. He has dealt with all the counties in the Houston area including Waller, Ft. Bend, Harris, Montgomery, Liberty, Chambers, Brazoria and Galveston.
Mr. Koshkin has been actively involved with numerous service and charitable organizations over the years including various committees with the Houston Association of Realtors, City of Houston Mayor’s Committee on Americans With Disabilities Act, Lifeway, a substance abuse early recovery program for adolecents and adults, the Houston Urban Bunch building parks within the City of Houston, director of various Municipal Utility Districts and Homeowner’s Associations, president of the Houston Executives Breakfast Club, Waller County Centennial Committee, various committees for the Stafford MSD, Hurricane Rita Aid, Habitat for Humanity and has previously taught Real Estate Courses at Houston Community College.
Brad Dill – Age 57 VP Lots & Land. BS Degree in Industrial Administration – Real Estate Finance with a minor in Architecture, Iowa State University 1981. Mr. Dill has more than forty (40) years experience in all aspects of real estate development including vacant land, residential lots and homes, golf course/country club, multi-family, industrial, retail, office, agricultural and manufactured/modular home properties. This experience has been in Texas (all major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Arizona, Florida, Iowa, South Carolina, North Carolina, California, New Mexico and Georgia. Mr. Dill has marketed, contracted and closed or acquired more than four hundred (400) real estate transactions totaling in excess of two hundred million ($200,000,000) dollars; developed, or currently developing, more than thirty five hundred (3,500) residential lots in numerous subdivisions; having provided consulting and due diligence services to multiple projects involving land, lots, notes, Municipal Utility District (MUD) reimbursables, business and private utility companies; successfully negotiated the reimbursement of millions of dollars from numerous MUD’s and homeowners associations; contracted, sold and administered lot option contracts with most major home builders in the greater Houston area; interfaced with most MUD consultants in the Houston market; interfaced with numerous governmental officials at the City of Houston, Harris County, Harris County Flood Control, various local municipalities and other smaller governmental entities in the greater Houston area; and, has been an owner’s representative for more than twenty five (25) projects involving MUD’s and has served as an officer or Architectural Control Committee member on more than twenty five (25) Homeowners Associations.
Mr. Dill has been very active helping various non profits and has been particularly active as a founding member and driving force of the Holy Trinity Episcopal School and is a director. He has donated time to a foundation at Klein United Methodist Church, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Crop Walks, PSI (Private Sector Initiative – repairing homes for elderly homeowners), Operation Compassion after Hurricane Katrina and Habitat for Humanity.
John Nugent – Age 71 – VP Housing. BA Government & History University of Texas 1967. Mr. Nugent is a Broker-Associates with RE/MAX Space Center in Houston, Texas. Mr. Nugent started his real estate career in 1970, with the commercial real estate firms of Laguarta, Gavrel and Bolin and Landmark Equities. With over forty four (44) years in the real estate business, Mr. Nugent has had wide experience in many areas of the real estate, including commercial land brokerage, investment, residential acquisition and brokerage, and property management, which once included acquiring and managing over one hundred (100) homes. Mr. Nugent has been a principal with the residential real estate firms of Mary Nugent and Associates and Mainsale-Wettling, Inc. and the broker-manager of RE/MAX Space Center, Realtors from 2001-2003.
Mr. Nugent has been actively involved in board and community activities for over thirty (30) years, having served as the president of the Bay Area Board of Realtors in 1999, prior to the merger with the Houston Association of Realtors, and then as a director of the Houston Association of Realtors from 2007-2009 and currently is a board member. Currently, John is serving as a director of the Space Center Rotary Club and is on the Planning Commission of the City of Nassau Bay, Texas.
Madeline Nugent – Age 65 VP Management & Leasing. BBA marketing University of Houston Clear Lake 1991. Mrs. Nugent is a highly motivated sales and marketing professional with an exceptionally strong work ethic. She has twenty (20) years experience in the title business including overseeing the Clear Lake area operations for Chicago Title. Recruited, hired, and supervised the Clear Lake office of Chicago Title Company which included maintaining constant contact with Realtor clients, organized training seminars, schedule luncheons with prospective clients (builders, mortgage company employees and Realtors) and monitored the closing process for accuracy and customer service. She has worked with her husband, John, at RE/Max Space Center listing, leasing, managing and selling residential properties. She is Director of Marketing for Stellar Financial and she owns her own staging company for marketing homes. Mrs. Nugent has been very active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Assistance League and the Women’s Council of Realtors.
Gary Maddox – Age 61 – VP Construction & Repairs. Mr. Maddox has over thirty five years (35) of maintenance and construction experience including work with Walton Construction, Bristol Hi Rise and Post Oak Park Townhomes. Mr. Maddox has previously worked with C.P. Blacktop, LLC (one of Mr. Koshkin’s companies) in land development and construction.
